Russians hit playground in Mykolaiv with missile, 3 people killed, 24 wounded
On the evening of July 19, the russian occupation army launched a missile attack on a residential area of Mykolaiv, killing three people, including one child, and wounding 24 others.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych and the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitalii Kim announced this on Telegram, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Hit at a residential area... Russian scum once again show their essence. We already know about three killed, including a child. Rusnia has no excuse," wrote Sienkovych.
In turn, the President reported that the enemy had fired a missile at a children's playground near an ordinary house.
"As of now, five people are known to have been injured. Three people were killed by this blow, including a child. My condolences to the family and friends," he wrote.
The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, reported on Saturday morning that a 13-year-old boy and two women, aged 53 and 63, were killed as a result of the missile strike.
According to confirmed data, 24 people were injured, including four children.
Outpatient medical care was provided to nine adults and two children.
As of Saturday morning, two adults and two children are in medical facilities.
Kim noted that according to preliminary information, the enemy struck a residential quarter of the city with an air-launched Kh-59 missile.
The blast wave and debris damaged nine apartment buildings, an institution of preschool education and private cars.
The head of the military administration added that the Mishkovo-Pohorilove community in the Mykolaiv District was also hit by a missile yesterday evening.
As a result of the attack, a hangar on the territory of a farm was damaged.
In addition, a dry grass fire broke out, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
There were no casualties there.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 15, the russian occupiers carried out an air attack on Mykolaiv, three people were injured.
