4.7 million persons liable for military service update their data over 2 months – Defense Ministry
At the request of the law on mobilization, within 2 months, from May 18 to July 16, 2024, a total of 4,690,496 persons liable for military service updated their data.
The Ministry of Defense announced this on its Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"According to the results of the update, 4,690,496 persons liable for military service have fulfilled their duty," the message reads.
Of them, the military registration data was updated through:
territorial recruitment and social support centers: 510,203 persons
Administrative Service Centers: 1,152,227 people
Reserve+ application: 3,028,066 people
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to the law on mobilization, from May 18, men were obliged to update their data for mobilization events within two months, i.e. until July 16.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Kateryna Chernohorenko reported that in 2 months, 3.4 million Ukrainians updated their data in the Reserve+ application, 83,500 of them abroad.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation reported that more than 1.4 million Ukrainians applied to Administrative Service Centers to clarify their military registration data within 60 days.
Violation of military accounting rules by conscripts, persons liable for military service, and reservists in a special period (in particular, during martial law) will be punished with a fine in the amount of 1,000 to 1,500 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens (from UAH 17,000 to UAH 25,500).
From 12 a.m. on July 17, border guards check the presence of a military registration document of all Ukrainian men aged 18 to 60 when leaving Ukraine.
