Everyone who did not update data from yesterday can receive fine of UAH 17,000 - MP Osadchuk
Since yesterday, all those who have not updated their data are automatically considered offenders and subject to the fact that they should be issued an administrative fine of at least UAH 17,000.
The first deputy of the parliamentary committee on law enforcement, member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Holos faction Andrii Osadchuk told the Ukrainian News agency about this.
"As far as I understand the law, since yesterday, all those who have not updated their data are automatically considered offenders. And they are automatically subject to the fact that they should have been issued an administrative fine of at least UAH 17,000. But I claim that the state of Ukraine did not create proper conditions for this procedure," he said.
Osadchuk emphasized that he provided his interpretation, not the final answer about fines.
"Now, when we talk about the fines that territorial recruitment and social support centers have the right to impose, we see the reality that a significant number of territorial recruitment and social support centers work according to different algorithms. The huge failure of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff is that they have not standardized any common approach," he explained.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, July 16 was the last day when men could update their data in the required time.
Violation of military accounting rules by conscripts, persons liable for military service, and reservists in a special period (in particular during martial law) is proposed to be punished with a fine in the amount of 1,000 to 1,500 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens (from UAH 17,000 to UAH 25,500).
