Ukraine ups grain exports by 67.7% to 1.5 million tons since 2024/2025MY start

The actual volume of grain exports by Ukraine since the beginning of the 2024/2025 marketing year (July 2024 - June 2025) and as of July 12 had made 1.499 million tons, up 67.7% or 0.605 million tons year over year.

This follows from a statement by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

In particular, 480,000 tons of wheat, 186,000 tons of barley, 200 tons of rye and 824,000 tons of corn have already been exported.

At the same time, during the specified period, the export of wheat flour and flour from other crops decreased by 37%, or by 1,300 tons, to 2,200 tons.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukraine exported 50.8 million tons of grain in the 2023/2024 marketing year, which is 3.2% or 1.59 million tons more than in the last marketing year.

On September 21, the bulk carrier Resilient Africa arrived in the Turkish Bosphorus Strait.

It was the first ship with grain from Ukraine that passed through the Black Sea through the temporary corridor.

On July 17, 2023, russia announced the withdrawal of navigation security guarantees in the Black Sea to ensure the "grain corridor".

Ukraine exported 49 million tons of grain in the 2022/2023 marketing year, up 1.3% year over year.
