Poroshenko, Merkel, Hollande To Discuss Unsatisfactory Pace Of Militants' Pullback Of Heavy Weaponry At Germany Summit

President Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Francois Hollande of France at a summit in Berlin, Germany on August 24 will discuss the unsatisfactory pace of militants' pullback of heavy weaponry, Poroshenko has told a news briefing.

"Notwithstanding that yesterday, the day before yesterday and today we have been observing the bombardments abating, we are by no means satisfied with the fulfillment of the key points of those obligations the Russian party undertook. This is withdrawal of large-calibre artillery and heavy equipment," he said.

Moreover, the nations' leaders will touch upon the issue of Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Mission access to all sectors from which the shelling is delivered.

Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande will also coordinate their actions to create a powerful international community to stop Russia's aggression.
