Imports of goods exceed exports by USD 3.2 billion in 2M

The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In January-February 2024, the negative balance of trade in goods improved by USD 462.3 million year over year (negative balance in January-February 2023 was USD 3,689.0 million).

In January-February 2024, Ukraine exported goods for USD 6,811.5 million, up 5.0% year over year.

In January-February 2024, Ukraine imported goods for USD 10,038.2 million, down 1.4% year over year.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January 2024, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 1,678.1 million.

In 2023, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 27,376.2 million.

In 2023, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 16,216.1 million year over year (negative balance in 2022 was USD 11,160.1 million).
