EV sales increase 2.3 times to 4,400 in March
In March 2024, sales of EVs increased 2.3 times year over year to 4,400.
This follows from a statement by the Ukravtoprom association, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In February, the sales of passenger EVs were 4,337 (new – 900 cars), commercial EVs – 83 cars (new – 5 cars).
The most popular new EVs in March were Volkswagen ID.4 - 207 cars, BYD Song - 112 cars, Honda eNS1 - 79 cars, Honda M-NV - 70 cars, and Nissan Ariya - 68 cars.
The most popular in March among pre-owned EVs registered for the first time in Ukraine were Nissan Leaf - 546 cars, Tesla Model 3 - 456 cars, Tesla Model Y - 349 cars, Volkswagen e-Golf - 246 cars, and Tesla Model S - 192 cars.
As the Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2023, the sale of EVs increased 2.8 times year over year to 37,600.
