AFU destroy another 960 occupiers, 22 tanks and 59 armored vehicles. General Staff reports losses of russians per day
As of Tuesday morning, January 23, the russian losses in the war in Ukraine amounted to 960 occupiers per day, and the total number of losses of the russian army since the invasion began increased to almost 378,000 troops. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 22 tanks, 51 artillery systems and 59 armored fighting vehicles per day.
It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 01/23/23 were approximately:
- personnel - about 377,820 (+ 960) people eliminated;
- tanks - 6,214 (+ 22) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 11,548 (+ 59) units;
- artillery systems - 8,947 (+ 51) units;
- MLRS - 970 (+ 2) units;
- air defense means - 657;
- aircraft - 331 units;
- helicopters - 324 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 6,961 units;
- cruise missiles - 1,820 (+ 1) units;
- ships/boats - 23 units;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 11,956 (+ 65) units;
- special equipment - 1,409 (+ 12) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of Monday, January 22, russia's losses in the hostilities in Ukraine reached 830 occupiers per day. The total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion made 376,860 troops. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out successful attacks, as a result of which 11 tanks, 23 armored fighting vehicles and 21 artillery systems were destroyed per day.
