AFU eliminates 760 invaders, 19 tanks, and 2 aircraft – General Staff
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of the morning of Monday, December 25, amounted to 760 occupiers. The total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion is approximately 353,950 troops. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) downed two aircraft and 33 enemy artillery systems.
This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the (AFU) posted on Facebook.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to December 25, 2023, approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 353,950 (+760) people;
- tanks – 5,877 (+19) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 10,919 (+31) units;
- artillery systems - 8,347 (+33) units;
- MLRS - 9,934 (+2) units;
- air defense equipment - 613 (+2) units;
- planes - 329 (+2) units;
- helicopters - 324 units;
- UAVs of operational-tactical level - 6,436 (+32) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,616 (+2) units;
- ships/boats - 22 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 11,075 (+53) units;
- special equipment - 1,234 (+5) units.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, last Friday, December 22, the Air Force of the AFU announced the destruction of three russian Su-34 aircraft at once. The Air Force of the AFU said that it was possible to shoot down the russian planes thanks to a brilliantly planned operation. Meanwhile, the Air Force confirmed the downing of two Su-34 and Su-30 fighters.
