Sales of new trucks almost double, make 977 units in October

In October 2023, the sales of new commercial vehicles increased almost twice year over year to 977 units.

This follows from a statement by the Ukravtoprom association, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Compared to September, the sales of commercial vehicles decreased by 3.5%.

Among the new commercial vehicles in October, the vehicles of the Renault company were in the greatest demand - 194.

MAN commercial vehicles were in second place (94 registered vehicles), Peugeot vehicles were in third place (79 vehicles), Ford vehicles were in fourth place (66 vehicles), and Scania vehicles were in fifth place (64 vehicles).

Since the beginning of the year, 9,100 new trucks and special vehicles have been sold, which is 67% more than in the same period last year.

As the Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in September 2023, the sales of new commercial vehicles increased by 65% year over year to 1,012 units.

In 2022, sales of new commercial vehicles decreased 2.3 times year over year to 6,900 units.
