AFU destroy more than 800 occupiers, aircraft and helicopter. General Staff reports russian losses per day
The losses of russian troops in Ukraine on the morning of Monday, October 16, amounted to 860 of the invaders, the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 288,630 in the military. Besides, the Armed Forces destroyed 17 tanks, 44 artillery systems, an enemy aircraft and a helicopter.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 10/16/23 were approximately:
- personnel - about 288,630 (+ 860) people eliminated;
- tanks - 4,965 (+ 17) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 9,385 (+ 23) units;
- artillery systems - 6,910 (+ 44) units;
- MLRS - 814 (+ 1) units;
- air defense equipment - 547 units;
- aircraft - 318 (+ 1) units;
- helicopters - 317 (+ 1) units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 5,280 (+ 11) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,531 units;
- ships/boats - 20 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 9,271 (+ 22) units;
- special equipment - 981 (+ 5) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian troops fired two missiles at night in the Dnipropetrovsk Region. One of them was destroyed by the East Air Command using air defense means. Another missile hit the territory of the Dnipro District of the region.
