Sales of new trucks up 65% to 1,012 units in September

In September 2023, the sales of new commercial vehicles increased by 65% year over year to 1,012 units.

This follows from a statement by the Ukravtoprom association, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Compared to August, the sales of commercial vehicles increased by 6%.

Among the new commercial vehicles in September, the vehicles of the Renault company were in the greatest demand - 214.

Scania commercial vehicles were in second place (106 registered vehicles), Ford vehicles were in third place (98 vehicles), Peugeot vehicles were in fourth place (79 vehicles), and Volkswagen vehicles were in fifth place (61 vehicles).

Since the beginning of the year, 8,132 new trucks and special vehicles have been sold, which is 65% more than in the same period last year.

As the Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in August 2023, the sales of new commercial vehicles nearly doubled year over year to 955 units.

In 2022, sales of new commercial vehicles decreased 2.3 times year over year to 6,900 units.
