AFU destroy 450 invaders, 13 tanks and 47 artillery systems. General Staff names russia’s losses for day
The Defense Forces continue to inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the russian occupiers. Thus, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 450 invaders in a day, destroyed 13 tanks, 47 artillery systems and 41 UAVs of the enemy.
This was announced on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to October 04, 2023 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 279,890 (+450) persons were eliminated;
- tanks - 4,745 (+13) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 9,026 (+18) units;
- artillery systems - 6,612 (+47) units;
- MLRS - 802 (+1) units;
- air defense equipment - 540 units;
- aircraft - 315 units;
- helicopters - 316 units;
- UAVs of operational-tactical level - 5,121 (+41) units;
- cruise missiles - 1,530 (+1) units;
- ships/boats - 20 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 8,962 (+30) units;
- special equipment - 946 (+3) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, during the day, troops of the russian occupation army attacked in four directions in the Luhansk and Donetsk Regions. During the day, 26 combat clashes took place.
It was previously reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 360 Russian invaders during the day, so the total loss of enemy troops in Ukraine amounted to 279,440 soldiers. Also, the Defense Forces destroyed 15 tanks and 40 enemy artillery systems last day.
