Another TPP power unit connected to power system – Energy Ministry

After the repairs were completed, a power unit at one of the thermal power plants (TPP) with an operating capacity of 100 MW was connected to the network.

This was announced by the Ministry of Energy, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"At one of the country's TPPs, the current repair of one power unit body was completed 9 days ahead of schedule. This made it possible to add an additional 100 MW of power to the power system," the report says.

It is noted that the electricity produced by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers.

"Power engineers continue to prepare the power system for the heating season, which will take place in the conditions of russian attacks. The repair campaign at the generation facilities - thermal, hydro and nuclear - is ongoing," the message states.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine plans to add 2.9 GW of capacity to the power system by December.
