AFU destroy 490 invaders, 41 artillery systems and 29 drones. General Staff names russia’s losses for day

Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Thursday morning, September 21, amounted to 490 occupiers, the total number of losses of the russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 274,470 soldiers. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 41 artillery systems, 15 armored combat vehicles and 29 drones.

This was announced on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to September 21, 2023 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - about 274,470 (+490) persons were eliminated,
• tanks - 4,638 (+3) units,
• armored combat vehicles - 8,883 (+15) units,
• artillery systems - 6,137 (+41) units,
• MLRS - 781 (+2) units,
• air defense systems - 528 (+2) units,
• aircraft - 315 units,
• helicopters - 316 units,
• UAVs of operational-tactical level - 4,850 (+29) units,
• cruise missiles - 1,479 units,
• ships/boats - 20 units,
• submarines - 1 unit,
• automotive equipment and tank trucks - 8,670 (+37) units,
• special equipment - 911 (+5) units.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on September 19 increased by 520 to 273,980 killed, and Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 7 tanks, 17 armored combat vehicles and 34 artillery systems.
