1 more TPP power unit connected to power system - Energy Ministry

After the repair was completed, a power unit at one of the thermal power plants (TPP) with an operating capacity of 120 MW was connected to the network.

This was announced by the Ministry of Energy, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"After planned repairs, the operation of one of the units of the TPP, which added 120 MW of power to the power system, was restored. The electricity produced by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers," the message says.

According to the report, the repair campaign at the generation facilities - thermal, hydro and nuclear - continues.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 20, DTEK Energy added a 220 MW thermal power unit to the power system after planned repairs.
