Sales of new trucks almost doubled to 955 units in August

In August 2023, the sales of new commercial vehicles nearly doubled year over year to 955.

This follows from a statement by the Ukravtoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Compared to July, the sales of commercial vehicles decreased by 2%.

Among the new commercial vehicles in August, the vehicles of the Renault company were in the greatest demand - 191.

Scania commercial vehicles were in second place (98 registered vehicles), Mercedes-Benz vehicles were in third place (84 vehicles), Volkswagen vehicles were in fourth place (73 vehicles), and Ford vehicles were in fifth place (72 vehicles).

Since the beginning of the year, 7,120 new trucks and special vehicles have been sold, which is 65% more than in the same period last year.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2022, sales of new commercial vehicles decreased 2.3 times year over year to 6,900 units.
