AFU destroy 650 occupiers and 17 cruise missiles. General Staff reports enemy losses per day
Russian losses in the war in Ukraine on Wednesday morning, August 16, amounted to 650 of the invaders, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 255,570 of the military. Besides, the Armed Forces destroyed 11 tanks and 17 cruise missiles.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to August 16, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel - about 255,570 (+ 650) people eliminated;
- tanks - 4,324 (+ 11) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 8,380 (+ 10) units;
- artillery systems - 5,152 (+ 24) units;
- MLRS - 714 units;
- air defense equipment - 485 (+ 3) units;
- aircraft - 315 units;
- helicopters - 314 (+ 1) units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 4,248 (+ 6);
- cruise missiles - 1,404 (+ 17) units;
- ships/boats - 18 units;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 7,614 (+ 30) units;
- special equipment - 773 (+ 4).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Russian losses in the war in Ukraine on Tuesday morning, August 15, amounted to 540 of the invaders, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion made 254,920 of the military. Besides, the Armed Forces destroyed a helicopter, and 29 artillery systems of the enemy.
