AFU shoot down helicopter and destroy 560 occupiers. General Staff reports Russian losses per day
Russian losses in the war in Ukraine on Tuesday morning, August 8, amounted to the 560 of the invaders, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 250,800 of the military. Besides, the Armed Forces destroyed a helicopter and 19 artillery systems.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to August 8, 2023 were approximately:
- personnel ‒ about 250,800 (+ 560) people eliminated,
- tanks ‒ 4,254 (+ 10) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 8,278 (+ 8) units,
- artillery systems - 4,996 (+ 19) units,
- MLRS - 709 units,
- air defense equipment - 468 (+ 1) units,
- aircraft - 315 units,
- helicopters - 312 (+ 1) units,
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 4,158 (+ 4),
- cruise missiles - 1,377 units,
- ships/boats - 18 units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 7,460 (+ 9) units,
- special equipment - 737 (+ 2).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, during the previous day, the defense forces eliminated 540 invaders, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion made 250,240 soldiers. Besides, the Armed Forces destroyed 7 tanks and 8 AFVs.
Meanwhile, the Russian occupiers bring trucks with their killed bodies to the Chaplynky morgue of the Kherson Region and bury them there. The bodies were buried in two locations.
