Sales of pre-owned imported passenger cars increase by 13% to 17,300 units in June - Ukravtoprom

In June 2023, compared to May 2023, the sale of pre-owned imported passenger cars increased by 13% to 17,300 units.

This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that this is the best result in the last 10 months.

Gasoline cars took the largest share in this segment of the car market - 43%.

Diesel cars occupied 35% of this segment of the car market, electric cars - 14%.

Volkswagen Golf remained the most popular pre-owned passenger car in April - 1,461 registrations.

Renault Megane was in the second place (1,238 units), Skoda Octavia - in the third place (880 units), Volkswagen Passat - in the fourth place (716 units), and Nissan Leaf closed the top five (514 units).

It is noted that the average age of pre-owned cars that switched to Ukrainian number plates in June was 10.5 years.

Since the beginning of the year, 87,200 pre-owned passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine, which is 3.2 times more than in the same period last year.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2022, compared to 2021, the sale of pre-owned imported passenger cars decreased by 25% to 388,500 units.
