AFU destroy 600 occupiers and 21 drones. General Staff announces Russian losses per day
As of the morning of Thursday, July 6, the Ukrainian military eliminated 600 Russian soldiers per day, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 232,300 military. In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed 22 artillery systems and 21 UAVs.
It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 06.07.23 were approximately:
- personnel ‒ about 232,300 (+ 600) people eliminated,
- tanks ‒ 4,068 (+ 6) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 7,932 (+ 15) units,
- artillery systems - 4,310 (+ 22) units,
- MLRS - 657 (+ 1) units,
- air defense equipment - 404 (+ 9) units,
- aircraft - 315 units,
- helicopters - 309 units,
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 3,635 (+ 21),
- cruise missiles - 1264,
- ships/boats - 18 units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 6,888 (+ 23) units,
- special equipment - 605 (+ 7) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of July 5, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion made 231,700 military.
Meanwhile, over the past day, Ukrainian defenders attacked 14 areas of concentration of the invaders. The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions - during the past day there were 38 combat clashes.
Last week, the Defense Forces liberated 9 square kilometers in the east of Ukraine and another 28.4 in the south. Offensive operations are conducted by Ukrainian troops in the Bakhmut, Melitopol and Berdiansk directions.
