AFU Eliminate Helicopter, 400 Occupiers And 20 Artillery Systems. General Staff Announces Russian Losses Per Day

Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine amounted to 400 occupiers per day, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion according to the data as of May 24 is 204,760 military. In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed a helicopter and 21 artillery systems.

It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to May 24, 2023 were approximately:

• personnel ‒ about 204,760 (+ 400) people eliminated,
• tanks ‒ 3792 (+ 3) units,
• armored fighting vehicles - 7,424 (+ 5) units,
• artillery systems - 3,339 (+ 21) units,
• MLRS - 570 (+ 5) units,
• air defense systems - 327 units,
• aircraft - 309 units,
• helicopters - 296 (+ 1) units,
• operational-tactical level UAVs - 2,871 (+ 7),
• cruise missiles - 1,015 units,
• ships/boats - 18 units,
• vehicles and tank trucks - 6,146 (+ 7) units,
• special equipment - 440 (+ 7)

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the General Staff said that this time a Ка-52 helicopter was shot down.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed a Russian Su-35 aircraft on the evening of May 21. It is a fourth generation multirole fighter.
