AFU Eliminate Helicopter, 480 Occupiers And 40 Artillery Systems. General Staff Announces Russian Losses Per Day
As of the morning of Tuesday, May 23, the Ukrainian military eliminated 480 Russian soldiers per day, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 204,360 soldiers. Besides, the Armed Forces destroyed a helicopter, 4 cruise missiles and 40 artillery systems.
It was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to May 23, 23 were approximately:
- personnel ‒ about 204,360 (+ 480) people eliminated,
- tanks ‒ 3,789 (+ 4) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 7,419 (+ 12) units,
- artillery systems - 3,318 (+ 40) units,
- MLRS - 565 (+ 0) units,
- air defense systems - 327 (+ 0) units,
- aircraft - 309 (+ 0) units,
- helicopters - 295 (+ 1) units,
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 2,864 (+ 34),
- cruise missiles - 1,015 (+ 4),
- ships/boats - 18 (+ 0) units,
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 6,139 (+ 10) units,
- special equipment - 433 (+ 6)
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of the morning of Monday, May 22, the Ukrainian military had eliminated 720 Russian soldiers per day, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion had made 203,880 military. Besides, the Armed Forces destroyed an aircraft and 20 artillery systems.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed a Russian Su-35 aircraft on the evening of May 21. It is a fourth generation multirole fighter.
