Quotations Of Ferrexpo Shares Keep Falling For 5th Week In Row, Down 1.1% To GBP 1.099 Per Share May 1-5
In the period of May 1-5, the quotations of shares of Ferrexpo plc (United Kingdom), which controls Poltava Mining and Yeristovo Mining (both located in Horishni Plavni, Poltava region), at the London Stock Exchange decreased by 1.1% or GBP 0.012 per share to GBP 1.099 per share, continuing to fall for the fifth week in a row.
That follows from the data posted at the London Stock Exchange, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, on May 1, there was no share trading; on May 2, the shares of the company were quoted at the level of GBP 1.111 per share; on May 3, they fell to GBP 1.093 per share.
On May 4, the quotations decreased to GBP 1.085 per share; and on May 5 - rose to GBP 1.099 per share.
The transactions were being conducted during the whole week.
Since the start of the year, the company's shares' quotations have decreased by 30.1% (compared to the level of quotations on December 30, 2022 - GBP 1.572).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the period of December 31, 2021 - December 31, 2022, the quotations of shares of Ferrexpo plc at the London Stock Exchange fell by 47.5% or GBP 1.422 per share to GBP 1.572 per share.
In 2022, the company reduced its profit four times or by USD 651 million year over year to USD 220 million, and earnings – twice or by USD 1.27 billion to USD 1.25 billion.
In 2022, the company reduced EBITDA (earnings before taxes, interest, and depreciation) by 47% or USD 674 million year over year to USD 765 million.
At the same time, in 2022, capital investments fell 2.2 times to USD 161 million.
