Defense Forces Significantly Push Enemy On Kinburn Spit - Humeniuk
The defense forces of Ukraine significantly pushed the enemy on the Kinburn Spit. However, the enemy once every two days dares to hint at its presence on the western part of the Kinburn Spit and fire at the Dnieper-Buh estuary.
It was announced by the head of the joint coordination press center of the defense forces of the south of Ukraine Natalia Humeniuk on the air of Espreso TV.
"We are working quite successfully, and there is already some information about this. But it's too early to talk about it. Therefore, the work continues, and we will report a little later. In general, I can say and note that we significantly pushed the enemy on the Kinburn Spit," said Humeniuk.
At the same time, she noted that the enemy dares to "pull out an artillery installation" every two days to indicate its presence on the western part of the Kinburn Spit and fire at the Dnieper-Buh estuary in order to "hint at control" over sea transport routes.
"However, the steady stay of the enemy there is not fixed," Humeniuk said.
She also added that the enemy is gathering closer to the mainland and hiding there behind the local population.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, at the end of March it was reported that the Russian occupiers significantly reduced activity on the Kinburn Spit in the Kherson Region, and the territory was completely under the fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
