AFU Destroyed 800 Invaders And Shot Down Aircraft. General Staff Names Russian Losses Over Past Day
Over the past day, the Ukrainian military destroyed several units of enemy aircraft and eliminated another 800 Russian soldiers. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 73,270 soldiers.
This is reported by the General Staff.
During the day, the occupiers suffered the greatest losses in the Avdiyivka and Lyman directions.
The total combat losses of the enemy as of November 2 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 73,270 (+800);
- tanks - 2,714 (+16);
- combat armored vehicles - 5,525 (+24);
- artillery systems - 1,733 (+3);
- MLRS - 387 (+4);
- air defense systems - 198 (+1);
- aircraft - 277 (+1);
- helicopters - 258 (+1);
- UAVs of operational-tactical level - 1,438 (+23);
- cruise missiles - 397 (+0);
- ships/boats - 16 (+0);
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 4,153 (+10);
- special equipment - 154 (+0).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of October 31, the total combat losses among enemy personnel are about 71,820.
On Sunday, the Armed Forces eliminated 620 occupiers, shot down a helicopter and an aircraft.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 44 missiles out of more than 50 launched by the occupiers from strategic aviation in the morning of October 31.
