AFU Destroyed 200 Invaders, 6 Tanks And 4 Artillery Systems. General Staff Named RF Losses Over Past Day

On August 16, losses of personnel of the Russian troops increased by 200 to 44,100 killed, also the Ukrainian military destroyed 6 tanks and 4 artillery systems last day.

This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

During the past day, the enemy lost 6 tanks (total - 1,886), 10 armored fighting vehicles (total - 4,162), 4 artillery systems (total - 993), 5 units of automobile equipment and tank trucks (total - 3,054), 1 unit of special equipment (total - 93) and 2 drones (total - 792).

Since the start of the war, the enemy has also lost 233 aircraft, 196 helicopters, 263 jet artillery units, 136 anti-aircraft defenses, 190 cruise missiles and 15 ships/boats.

The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Kharkiv and Donetsk directions.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 15, losses of personnel of Russian troops increased by 150 to 43,900 killed, equipment - by 1 helicopter and 3 cruise missiles.
