Official Unemployment Down 0.2 p.p. To 1.2% In April

In April 2018, the official unemployment decreased by 0.2 percentage points to 1.2%.

The State Statistic Service of Ukraine has said this, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As at May 1, 326,800 unemployed people were registered by the State Employment Service (366,900 as at April 1).

As at May 1, the number of vacancies was 83,800.

In April, the average employment pay amounted to UAH 2,422.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in March 2018, the official unemployment decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 1.4%.
