4 Of 5 Major Cryptocurrencies Appreciating On Friday

Four of five major cryptocurrencies are appreciating on Friday in terms of their capitalization.

Ukrainian News Agency learnt this from the data provided by the CoinMarketCap.

In particular, in the last 24 hours, Bitcoin has appreciated by 5.95% to USD 9,800, Ethereum appreciated by 10.32% to USD 792, Ripple - by 7.07% to USD 0.9132, and Bitcoin Cash - by 1.03% to USD 1,500.

At the same time, EOS has cheapened by 3.30% to USD 17.2.

Capitalization of Bitcoin is USD 166.1 billion, Ethereum - USD 78.5 billion, Ripple - USD 35.7 billion, Bitcoin Cash - USD 27.5 billion and EOS - USD 14.3 billion.

The volume of transactions in the last 24 hours has made: Bitcoin - USD 9.6 billion, Ethereum - USD 3.9 billion, Ripple - USD 0.7 billion, Bitcoin Cash - USD 1 billion and EOS - USD 1.9 billion.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Bank of Ukraine, National Commission for Securities and the National Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets have refused to recognize cryptocurrencies as a payment instrument, cash equivalent or currencies of any value.
