EU Confirms Cancellation Of Funding Of Infrastructure Projects At Ukrainian Border
The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine confirms that the funding of infrastructure projects at the Ukrainian border has been stopped.
The Delegation of the European Union said this in a posting on its Facebook page, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The European Union has confirmed closure of border projects: Ukraine will lose close to EUR 27 million," reads the statement.
The Delegation of the European Union refers to the official explanation of the European Commission.
This concerns six projects with European financing for a total sum of EUR 29.2 million where the major beneficiary was the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine refuted information saying that the European Union has suspended financing of infrastructure projects at the Ukrainian border.
