Bitcoin Value Falls By 6% To USD 13,400 Overnight

In one day, Bitcoin cryptocurrency decreased in value by 6% to USD 13,439.

The Ukrainian News Agency learnt this from the data published at the coinmarketcap cryptocurrency online platform.

As at Thursday, capitalization of Bitcoin, leading cryptocurrency, was estimated at USD 225.720 billion, while the volume of transactions over the past 24 hours amounted to USD 17.789 billion.

Ethereum remained the second cryptocurrency by the size of the capital which was estimated at USD 116.672 billion.

In total, 16.795 million of Bitcoin coins have been mined.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Bank of Ukraine, the National Commission for Securities and Stock Exchange and the National Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Market refused to recognize cryptocurrency as a payment instrument, money surrogate or a valuable.
