NBU Expecting 2 IMF Tranches Worth USD 3.5 Billion In 2018

The National Bank of Ukraine expects the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to provide two more tranches for USD 3.5 billion in 2018.

NBU Deputy Head Dmytro Solohub has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The central bank does not expect one of the IMF tranches to arrive in 2017.

Besides, the NBU has worsened the outlook for its international reserves to USD 18.6 billion as at the yearend.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in September, the international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine rose by 3.3% to USD 18.6 billion.

In 2016, the international reserves of the NBU rose by 17% to USD 15.5 billion.

The central bank had expected the international reserves to be USD 20.8 billion as at the yearend.
