PGO Returns Pistol To MP Pashynskyi
The Prosecutor General's Office has returned a pistol to Verkhovna Rada member Serhii Pashynskyi from faction of the People's Front Party, which was taken from him as evidence in a criminal case following a shooting incident outside Kyiv On December 31, 2016.
The Prosecutor General's Office announced this to Ukrainian News Agency following an inquiry.
The criminal case against the MP was closed on July 26.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Prosecutor General's Office has closed the criminal case following a shooting incident involving Member of Parliament Pashynskyi.
On August 21, Maryna Parinova, the lawyer of Viacheslav Khimikus, who got injuries during a conflict with MP Serhii Pashynskyi, appealed against the closure of the shooting case involving Pashynskyi.
MP Pashynskyi wounded Khimikus with a shot from a pistol on December 31, 2017.
MP Pashynskyi claims that Khimikus was the aggressor while Khimikus claims the opposite.
