The press service of the National Bank of Ukraine told this to Ukrainian News Agency.

May 11 - August 7, the governor of the National Bank was on vacation.

Yakiv Smolii is acting governor of the Ukrainian central bank.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed Hontareva the governor of the National Bank of Ukraine in June 2014.
