Red Cross Sends 15 Trucks With Humanitarian Aid To Occupied Territories Of Donbas

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has sent 15 trucks with humanitarian aid to the territory of Donbas not controlled by the government of Ukraine.

The press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The statement reads that the trucks with the humanitarian aid passed the Novotroitske checkpoint.

According to the report, the trucks carry foodstuffs and building materials weighing about 300 tons.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in June 2017, the Government of the Swiss Confederation and the International Committee of the Red Cross (sent 758 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine-uncontrolled territory of Donbas.
