Naftogaz Ups Profit By 60% To UAH 19.7 Billion In Q1

In compliance with the international financial reporting standards, in the first quarter of 2017, the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company upped its net profit by 59.9% or UAH 7.376 billion to UAH 19.684 billion year over year.

The company has said this in a statement posted in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and Stock Market.

In Q1, Naftogaz upped its net revenues by 43.3% or UAH 21.833 billion to UAH 72.279 billion year over year.

In the first quarter of 2017, the stake of gas sales in the revenues of the company made 78% (it sold 10.08 billion cubic meters of gas for UAH 65 billion) and the share of gas transit services made 21.6% (UAH 17.99 billion).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint-stock company has reported net profit of UAH 22.532 billion for 2016.
