Total State Debt Up 2.7% To USD 74.3 Billion In April
The total state debt (direct and secured) in April rose by 2.69% or USD 1.95 billion to USD 74.31 billion as at April 30, 2017.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.
As at late April, the state and state-secured debt made UAH 1,972.97 billion or USD 74.31 billion over UAH 1,951.85 billion or USD 72.35 billion a month earlier.
The total direct state debt as at April 30 made UAH 1,672.92 billion (USD 63.01 billion) over UAH 1,676.13 billion or USD 62.13 billion a month earlier.
The direct state debt rose by USD 0.74 billion to USD 36.94 billion while the direct domestic debt decreased to USD 691.98 billion.
As at April 30, the state-secured debt made UAH 300.04 billion or USD 11.3 billion.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2016, the total state debt of Ukraine rose from USD 65.51 to USD 70.97 billion.
