Militants Shell ATO Forces Positions 53 Times May 23

Militants shelled positions of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces 53 times on May 23.

The ATO headquarters' press-center has posted this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

One Ukrainian military man was wounded in the ATO on May 23.

Later a spokesperson for the Defense Ministry for Antiterrorist Operation Affairs Andrii Lysenko said at a briefing that the serviceman suffered a wound as militants were shelling Avdiivka in Donetsk region.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, militants shelled the ATO forces' positions 59 times on May 22.

Four Ukrainian military men were wounded in ATO on May 22.
