Lutsenko Included In Team Of Prosecutors In Yanukovych Treason Case

Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko has been included in the team of prosecutors that will present the state's case against former president Viktor Yanukovych, who is accused of high treason.

Prosecutor Ruslan Kravchenko announced this during an interview on Channel 5 TV channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Kravchenko declined to say whether Lutsenko would personally present arguments in court during the Yanukovych trial.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Obolonskyi District Court of Kyiv decided on Thursday, May 4, to authorize participation of Yanukovych in the preparatory court session via a video link and postponed consideration of the case to May 18.
