EBRD Intends To Allocate EUR 20 Million To Lviv For Resolving Problems With Disposal Of Household Waste
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) intends to allocate EUR 20 million to Lviv to help resolve the problem with disposal of household waste.
EBRD Senior Advisor for Eastern Europe and Caucasus Anton Usov announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"In the context of the Lviv spring business forum the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development stated its readiness to resolve the problem of treatment of household waste with the municipality of Lviv," he said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 21, Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi, Chairperson of the State Regional Administration Oleh Syniutka and Chairperson of Regional Council Oleksandr Hanuschyn signed a memorandum of cooperation on collection and disposal of waste in 19 landfills of region's cities until the Lviv City Council resolves the pending problem with disposal of household waste.
