Kyiv Expects 20,000 Foreigners To Come To Eurovision 2017 In May

Kyiv Municipal State Administration expects 20,000 foreigners to come to the international pop song contest Eurovision 2017 in May.

Administration Deputy Chairman Oleksii Reznikov announced this at a press briefing, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In all, some 1.3 million tourists are expected to come to Kyiv in 2017.

According to Reznikov, Kyiv will manage to get ready for the contest.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Kyiv City Council approved allocation of UAH 200 million to prepare for and hold Eurovision 2017.
