Ukrzaliznytsia Develops Mobile Version Of Ticket Website

Ukrzaliznytsia public joint-stock company has launched the mobile version of the ticket website booking.uz.gov.ua.

Ukrzaliznytsia Director General Wojciech Balczun announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The company will also develop a mobile app for buying tickets.

Today, the company sells more than one-third of tickets online, and plans to boost e-sales.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine is researching the issues of organization of sale and payment for railway e-tickets to find out the problems banks face when cooperating with Ukrzaliznytsia.

Ukrzaliznytsia incorporates Donetsk, Lviv, Odesa, South, South-Western, and Prydniprovska Railways, as well as other production and technological enterprises and organizations engaged in provision of freight and passenger carriage.
