Poroshenko To Dismiss Odesa Governor Saakashvili After Cabinet Recommendation

President Petro Poroshenko will dismiss Chairman of the Odesa Region State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili after a corresponding recommendation from the Cabinet of Ministers.

Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a comment by the press service of the Presidential Administration.

"If the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine submits the recommendation, the President of Ukraine would sign the resignation of M.Saakashvili," it reads.

They will though study the existing grounds for his dismissal.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Saakashvili on Monday has decided to step down.
