Rada Ratifies Memorandum On Defense Cooperation With Britain

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ratified a memorandum on defense cooperation with the United Kingdom.

With 226 votes required, 236 MPs voted to adopt law No.110, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The memorandum was signed in Kyiv on 17 March 2016.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 30 December 2015 endorsed the draft Memorandum of Understanding with Britain on defense cooperation.
