Poroshenko: Normandy Format Only Way To Settle Donbas Conflict

President Petro Poroshenko considers that the negotiations in the Normandy Format (Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia) has no alternative to settle the Donbas conflict.

The President of Ukraine has told this at a press-conference after the Normandy Format meeting on October 19, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The meeting started in Berlin (Germany) at about 19:30 and lasted until about 00:15, October 20.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, at their meeting on October 19, President Petro Poroshenko, Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, President of France Francois Hollande and President of Russia Vladimir Putin have urged the foreign affairs ministers of the four countries to elaborate a roadmap for the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
