Interior Ministry Confirms Murder Of Commander Of Militants "Motorola" In Donetsk

The Ministry of Interior Affairs of Ukraine confirms the murder of Arsen Pavlov, a commander of militants of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic", in Donetsk.

Artem Shevchenko, director of the communication department of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, wrote this on his page in Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The terrorist Arsenii 'Motorola' Pavlov is killed. It is likely that by his own henchmen...," he wrote.

A number of media have reported that Motorola was killed by an explosion in the lift of his house.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko voiced confidence that Arsen Pavlov, also known as Motorola, will be brought to criminal responsibility.
