Kyiv Installing CCTV Systems At City Parking Grounds

The Kyiv Municipal State Administration has embarked upon installing CCTV systems at the city parking grounds.

Ukrainian News Agency learned this from a statement made by the Administration press service.

The installation is part of the Safe City project.

Three cameras will be mounted at 2 Dmytriyevska Street in the test mode.

The systems offer online monitoring of the situation at the car parks and payment of parking fees.

All video records will be stored in an archive in aid to tracing infractions or road accidents.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Kyiv Municipal State Administration and the Chief Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv plan to install 300 speed cameras on the motorways in the capital before April 2017.
