During night attack, Air Defense Forces downed 6 missiles and over 100 drones

On the night of July 26, russian troops launched another massive strike on the territory of Ukraine, launching eight missiles and 136 drones of various types. This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The air defense forces managed to neutralize one Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missile, five Iskander-M or S-400 ballistic missiles, as well as 104 enemy drones.

Despite the effective work of the air defense, hits are also recorded: two ballistic missiles and 27 strike drones hit targets at 18 locations. Falling debris from downed air targets was recorded in seven more places.

In particular, in the capital, destruction and fires occurred in the Desnianskyi, Solomianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts. As a result of the attack, a warehouse facility, a truck, 10 cars burned down, and non-residential premises were damaged.

This shelling was the second ballistic attack on the capital region in recent days. The previous time, on Friday afternoon, the russians struck the territory of a private training ground with an arms exhibition. Then, as a result of the enemy attack, 10 people were killed, about a hundred more were injured, and more than 25 private houses and 44 cars were damaged.
