Former head of Kyiv City Military Administration Tkachenko to head Kyiv Regional State Administration

On Wednesday, July 22, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the appointment of the former head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, to the position of head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

This was announced by the permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the procedure, the final step for the official appointment of Tkachenko Tymur Firuddinovych as head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration will be the signing of a corresponding decree by the President of Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 1, 2025, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Tymur Tkachenko as head of the Kyiv City Military Administration instead of Serhii Popko.
