AFU disable 75% of Kerch ferry crossing's capacity over past few weeks

Over the past two weeks, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) have disabled 75% of the capacity of the Kerch ferry crossing, which the aggressor state, the russian federation, uses to supply occupied Crimea.

Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, the commander of the AFU’s Unmanned Systems Forces, reported this on his official Telegram channel.

According to him, the USF, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, struck the following targets:

• The “Yeysk” ferry—struck on July 12 and 13, after which it was towed to the port of occupied Kerch, where it currently remains. There are no plans to repair the ferry.
• The motor vessel SKS One — destroyed as a result of strikes on July 7, 12, and 13. It is currently in the port of Kamysh-Burun and cannot be repaired.
• The “Maria” ferry sustained numerous hits from the USF and SSU. The russians towed it to the port of Kerch. There are no plans to repair it or return it to service.
• The “Lavrentiy” ferry—is not under its own power and is being used as a towed barge.
• The “Panagia” ferry is in a condition similar to that of the “Lavrentiy” ferry.

The USF commander stated that as a result of Ukrainian strikes, 75% of the ferry crossing’s capacity has been neutralized, leaving 25% remaining.

As the Ukrainian News agency previously reported, earlier today, July 19, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) announced that the tanker Avero, part of russia’s “shadow fleet,” was struck in the Black Sea using the “Mamai” maritime drone.

As a reminder, on the night of July 18, Ukrainian drones struck another 13 russian vessels in the Azov and Black Seas. In total, 172 vessels have been struck by Ukrainian drones since July 6.
